The central motif of this image on an A4 white card came in very few strokes. The red mountain shouted to my eyes “Look at me, I’m here and awake!” There was no denying that call, so the work continued on around that visual missive. Something both musical and magical built around the first expression and finally it all came to rest in exactly this form. Just the starter pack using iron, scriber, white card and wax block colours. There is something about this one that awakens me too.
