Hochanda has a new branded home on Freeview Channel 85 from October 1st 2016.
And we at Encaustic Art are Die-ing for our shows – no, not becoming dead, but rather using die cutting combined with encaustic artwork to make some lovely and unique card ideas for everyone who already has any type of die cutting machine or any dies to hand!
Michael & Shona Bossom will once more be looking at the creative encaustic arts used for hobby or art work. Versatile and fun, as easy or complex as yo wish and with almost instant results that are always changeable. Like it – then STOP! Need to do more – then just carry on at any time. Wax is like an unfreezable paint, so you are never stuck and further work, change or total reorganisation of the artwork is always possible.
Using die cutting with encaustic art means you can create very quick and unique colour card backgrounds to harmonize with almost any project you are working upon. If you give waxed artwork cards a coating of the sealer before die-cutting then you can use these cut-outs and apertures in any of your mixed media work too. And simple die cuts can enhance the artwork adn be enhanced by the encaustic art itself.
