.. there I was, looking at an A4 piece of card and wondering what to do. The wax started to melt on the iron and before I knew it the card was covered. Then what? patterns, abstract, look and see what is coming into focus …. .. nothing yet … then, after more playing, stroking the wax this way and that adding visual texture a sea area seemed to emerge. After another few minutes of playing and working, maybe half an hour in all, this was the imagery, the vision that I found.
