Melting the wax
![]() |
Wax will melt easily when gently held against the iron. It is important not to have the temperature too hot though. Set the heat to "LOW" or "nylon" |
Applying the wax
![]() |
Place the waxed base of the iron gently onto the sealed card and smooth as if lightly ironing. | ![]() |
Creating effects by "lifting" the iron
![]() |
As you lift the iron's base (rather like a hinged box lid) amazing "organic" effects appear which resemble coral or foliage. | ![]() |
Using the iron's edge & point
![]() |
You can use the iron's edge for making thinner lines or the tip for applying finer details - like the bird shown here. | ![]() ![]() |
Details are easier with the Stylus
![]() |
The Stylus drawing tip behaves much like a dipping pen. Just place the tip on the wax and it will melt into it , thus filling the nib. It is ideal for most detailed graphics. Other tip[s include the heated brush head, the micro iron tip (about the size of a nice fingernail, and the Mini iron tip which is several times larger |
